This really nice Days Inn, which I personally stayed at on a BRG, is located about halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego right off of Interstate 5 along the cool coastline.

This is a very quiet hotel about 5 minutes drive from some great beaches. In fact, from my particular room I could view a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean and the rocks on the beach. I think this is a fantastic place to crash if you want to make beach plans. I highly recommend Doheny State Beach just a 10 minute drive up Pacific Coast Highway.

The hotel location itself is so nice you could even take a walk outside with your grandmother at night! (They did charge me room tax, but I think it was worth it despite that.)

What is great about this Ramada (which I've stayed at before) is that it is directly across the street from the Disneyland entrance. You can actually save on Disney parking fees by leaving the car at the hotel, should you decide to go. I was never charged any room tax and had a pleasant stay.

Unfortunately, you wont spot this one on kayak, probably because the price variation is only a few cents.
